Responsibility:

Phyllo is looking for a Product design lead to lead our Product design team as the name suggests. The primary responsibility would be to own all the developer facing properties of Phyllo - developer dashboard and developer docs. And to lead & manage the design team which is filled with young Product Designers. Product and design work very closely with each other at Phyllo, hence design reports into the product function.

What will you do

  • Be the leading voice of design in the company and uphold the design quality you want to hold yourself accountable to.

  • Own the developer facing properties at Phyllo - developer dashboard and developer docs. Developer docs is essentially the UI to our product, hence we need the specialized focus and attention from someone senior onto this product.

  • Developer dashboard is the console in which our customers manage their Phyllo usage. The MVP was launched in August 2022 and is a constantly evolving product as we have miles to go in building a developer experience at the same quality as that of Stripe. You will be leading the design charge on this product.

  • Mentor, manage, guide the rest of the design team. You will have direct reports ranging from interns to junior designers.

  • You are responsible for the overall design quality, accent, and tone of the product. We take our designs very seriously, and you will be the guardian of the same.

  • Bring in your best design processes and incorporate them.

  • Designers also own product copy, allowing another channel to mark your imprint and extend the user experience.

  • Build the design team, as the needs of the company change and evolve.
